Como Social Club at the Westin is doing Latin Night Sunday Nov 1. Free 30 minute salsa lesson at 9:30 with Raye & Irene, then a live orchestra and DJ doing salsa, bachata and merengue until 1am. RSVP is on their Eventbrite. Two left feet here but my wife wants to go. Is the lesson actually beginner friendly?

The lesson is very beginner. They pair you up and rotate so nobody is stuck with their own clumsy partner the whole time.

Sunday night until 1am is brutal with work Monday but the terrace view over the Waterway makes it worth it

Went to one in the summer. Get there right at 9:30 or you're learning from the back of the room.
