Honest mechanic? Dealer wants $2,800 for brakes

   Dealer quoted my wife $2,800 for brakes and "a few other items" on the Tahoe. In Conroe we would laugh at that number. But I am also not a mechanic, so who knows. Who does everybody trust for a second opinion out here?

   Cheaper taxes, longer drive.

   Christian Brothers on Panther Creek Pines. They showed me pictures of my actual pads on my phone before doing anything. Said front pads were fine, rears needed it. Way less than the dealer quote I had. https://www.cbac.com/the-woodlands/

   Christian Brothers is good people. They will not do a thing without calling you first and they give the truck back cleaner than it went in, which is a trick because I know what it looked like.

   Been here since it was all pines.

   Christian Brothers for our shop van. Over 2,000 reviews and they are still at 4.8, which tells you it is not a fluke. Ask them to itemize so you can compare line by line with the dealer.
