Redlight Revival playing their debut at the Blue Lion Pub on the 1st

   Small one but I like these better than the big shows. Redlight Revival are playing their official debut at the Blue Lion Pub, 8000 McBeth Way, on Thursday October 1. Doors at 6:00, music at 7:00. Event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/the-blue-lion-pub/band-debut-redlight-revival/1712551073407390/ A debut show at a pub is exactly the kind of thing that ends up being the best night of the month or a complete wash, and there is no way to know which in advance.

   If it opened on Market Street, I've been.

   Sorry if this has been asked, but is the Blue Lion the kind of place you can just walk into on a show night, or should we be there at doors? We are still figuring out which of these places want a reservation.

   Doors at 6 and music at 7 tells you what you need to know. If you want a spot where you can actually see the band, show up near doors. If you just want to be in the room with it on, 7 is fine. Also note this is the exact same night as MUMFORD AND SONS at the Pavilion, so anybody trying to do both is going to be disappointed twice.

   Or, and hear me out, you skip the amphitheater entirely (no parking ordeal, no lawn chair logistics) and go watch a brand new band for the price of a couple of drinks. I know which one I am picking.

   Cheaper taxes, longer drive.

   A band nobody has heard yet, at a pub, on a Thursday. Could go either way... that is the fun part.
