AC blowing warm again. Who do you use?

   Late September and the upstairs unit decided it is done. Thermostat says 68, house says 81... it is a comedy. Who are people calling for AC repair these days? I know there is an old thread but half those companies have been bought out by private equity.

   Retired. Walking the paths since the paths were dirt.

   The AC Guy. They are right here on Sawdust. We called on a Sunday morning in August and they had someone at the house that afternoon. He showed us the pricing before he touched anything, no surprise at the end. It was a capacitor.

   Do not feed the deer. Please.

   The AC Guy for us too. Tech was great with the dogs, which matters in this house because Gravy has opinions about strangers in the attic. Fixed our drain line clog and did not try to sell us a new system.

   Integrity Comfort Solutions is the other one I hear about a lot, Carrier dealer. But honestly for a repair call I would go with The AC Guy. Upfront pricing and same day is what you want when it is 81 inside.

   Cheaper taxes, longer drive.
