  We recently closed on our house in Indian Springs, where we paid roughly a 12 percent lot premium specifically for direct greenbelt access. Last night around 2:00 AM, we had several barred owls right in our backyard. They were hunting and extremely vocal, calling back and forth to each other across the canopy for over an hour. Is having multiple vocal owls hunting right behind the house a regular occurrence across the village greenbelts, or is this just an occasional thing?   That mid May to mid August window is the thing I would raise with every single bidder. Ask flat out whether the date they are proposing is right for the colony and get the answer in writing. A cheap quote stops being a savings the minute it turns into a cleanup job inside your walls.
