Best way to do an outdoor show with kids in tow

   We want to take the kids to something outdoors this season and I would rather learn from other people's mistakes. Lawn or seats with little kids? How early is too early to show up? What do you bring and what do they make you leave in the car?

   Lawn every time with kids. They can move, you can leave early without climbing over anybody, and nobody is annoyed at you.

   Check the bag rules before you go, they are not the same at every venue and they do change. Nothing worse than walking back to the car with a toddler.

   Go in with a plan to leave before the end. You will not regret missing the last song nearly as much as you will regret the parking lot afterward with tired kids.
