  Not for my kids, asking for a friend who is relocating in the spring and trying to decide whether to move now or wait until the school year ends. Her oldest is in middle school and does not want to move at all. Anybody done a mid year switch and regretted it, or was it fine?

  We want to replace a section of fence that is leaning and my husband wants to paint the front door a color that is not brown. Before we spend money I would like to hear from people who have actually gone through the approval process. Is it a formality or does it turn into a project?

  What ages are your kids? That changes the advice a lot. Little ones and you will want to know where the shade is. Older and it is all about who is driving who where.
