Electrician for a panel upgrade and EV charger

   We are adding an EV charger in the garage and the builder grade panel in our Cochran's Crossing house is apparently not going to cut it. Kindly recommend a licensed electrician who has done panel replacements in older Woodlands homes. I will be asking about ARC separately for the exterior work, so no need to lecture me on that.

   Murphy's Electric. They did our panel in March. Master electrician runs it, and they were in and out in a day with the permit handled. The crew showed up when they said they would, which is rarer than it should be. Five stars on Google with a couple hundred reviews last I looked. https://murphyselectric.com/

   Murphy's did the lighting and a surge protector at my shop. Woman owned, which I like supporting. They quoted in writing and the final bill matched the quote to the dollar.

   Shop local, file on time.

   Saw a Murphy's van on my street three times last month... either they are popular or my neighbors have a wiring problem.

   Retired. Walking the paths since the paths were dirt.

   For the old timers: Bale's Electric in Conroe has been around since 1968. But for a panel plus EV charger I would go with Murphy's, they seem to be doing a lot of exactly that job right now.

   2004 transplant. Still call it Randalls.
