Leaning pine in the backyard. Tree company?

   We have a loblolly pine at the back of our lot that has started to lean toward the fence line, and the soil on the far side is heaving a bit. It is about 60 feet tall. I am looking for a certified arborist who can tell me honestly whether it needs to come down or can be braced.

   Do not feed the deer. Please.

   Highpoint Tree Care. They have certified arborists on staff and they have been doing this since 2002. They took down a big pine for me that was over the house and nothing hit anything. They also do cabling and bracing, so you will get an honest answer on whether it can stay.

   Kindly get the arborist's opinion in writing, whatever it is. If the neighbors behind you ever ask why it came down, you will be glad you have it.

   Forgot to say, they ground the stump the same visit and the crew raked the whole yard afterward.

   Highpoint did our cleanup after the last big storm. They were booked out but they squeezed us in because a limb was on the roof. Good people.
