Need Recommendations for an exterminator in The Woodlands for ants

   Sorry if this has been asked before. We have ants showing up around the kitchen sink and along one window sill. I have tried the little bait stations and they disappear for a few days, then come right back. Who has a good exterminator that serves The Woodlands and will actually look for the source instead of just spraying the baseboards?

   We fought ants along the kitchen window for most of last spring before I finally called Bug Master off Nursery Rd. The guy who came out spent more time outside than inside. He found them trailing in along the slab where the flower bed sits right up against the brick, and he treated the source instead of just fogging the baseboards. They did not come back. They handle rodents and urban wildlife too, and they run Sentricon if you ever end up with a termite problem. Close to 900 reviews on Google sitting right at five stars, which tracks with what I got. Whatever company you use, ask up front what happens if the ants show back up in three weeks.    We have been on quarterly service with Preventive Pest Control over on Budde Rd for about three years. Nothing dramatic to report, which is sort of the point. They do the perimeter, check the garage and the attic access, and I have not had an ant issue since the second visit. They also do rodent proofing and pre-treat new builds for termites. One thing though. Compare the annual total, not the first visit price. The first visit is cheap everywhere.    GreenForce is who our neighbors switched to after their lab kept licking the baseboards. They are out of Spring on Sunshine Ln. They were upfront with her about what they were putting down and how long to keep the dogs off the grass, which the last company never bothered to explain.    Check your walls for the little Taexx ports before you call anybody else. Ours has them, and HomeTeam is who services that system, so we just stayed with them. They pull up, hook onto the tubing at the side of the house, and never set foot inside. Their office is over on Spring Hill Dr in Spring. Also get somebody to actually identify the ant before you agree to a plan.    Kindly ask whether anything they apply outside needs to be coordinated with irrigation, pets, or access through a shared gate. Also get the recurring schedule and cancellation terms in writing. Four good-looking ratings do not make four identical service plans.
