Market Street Thursday night concerts are running through November 1

   Y all, the Thursday evening concerts at Market Street, 9595 Six Pines, are running every Thursday through November 1! Free, outdoors, bring lawn chairs and a picnic. This is the one I keep recommending to new families because there is no ticket and no commitment. If the kids melt down you just walk to the car. Where are folks setting up chairs? Anybody have a spot they swear by?

   This sounds perfect for us. So we really can just bring food in? I did not want to show up with a cooler and be the people who did not read the rules.

   Lawn chairs and picnics are exactly what the listing describes, so you are fine on that point. I would kindly suggest confirming anything beyond that with Market Street directly rather than with us, since retail property rules are their own thing and not something this forum can speak to.

   Thursday at 6 in Town Center. You are parking in a garage and walking, full stop. Anybody circling the surface spots is going to miss the first set.

   Worth saying that a free weekly outdoor series in Town Center is not a new idea here, it is a continuation of how this place has always programmed its public spaces, and it predates the Township incorporation in spirit if not in name. The part I would not oversell is what music you are getting on a given week. The listing only tells us there are concerts every Thursday through November 1, not who is playing, so go for the evening rather than for a specific act.

   2004 transplant. Still call it Randalls.

   Going for the evening is the right read. I have had a great one and a very forgettable one out there in the same month, and the food carts and the patios are the constant either way.

   If it opened on Market Street, I've been.
