History

Creekside Park opened on The Woodlands' 33rd anniversary and takes its name from Spring Creek, which forms its northern edge. It is the only village south of Spring Creek and the only one in Harris County.

Homes

Creekside Park sits at the top of the regular village market, with a median sale price around $862,500, driven by newer construction, a strong retail core and access to parks and trails. It also includes Carlton Woods Creekside, home to the Tom Fazio championship golf course.

Taxes

Buyers should budget for a noticeably higher tax bill. Creekside Park pays Harris County taxes, ESD 11, Tomball ISD and Harris-Montgomery County MUD 386, for a total around $2.43 per $100 compared with $1.70 to $1.91 in the Montgomery County villages.

Amenities

It is the only village with a village green. Residents have the George Mitchell Nature Preserve, the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, Lone Star College-Creekside Center, eight parks and part of the Spring Creek Greenway. Nearby dining along Kuykendahl includes Fielding's Local, Rise and Nahui Seafood. The Creekside Park Village Association meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.

What residents talk about
