My son wants to see the festive lights and hear the caroling. Looking for recommendations on the best spots along the route to set up lawn chairs. Where do y'all usually park and set up?

We usually try to park a couple blocks back so we do not get stuck in the traffic jam right when the caroling parade finishes up. It is a really fun neighborhood event (especially for the younger kids who get excited about the holiday carols).

If you show up ten minutes before the parade starts you will be standing behind three rows of strollers.

Bring a couple extra blankets along with those lawn chairs because it gets chilly once the sun goes down. My team of kids loves the holiday caroling and festive lights every single year!
Hydrate. Then hydrate again.

Setting up lawn chairs along the route early is the best advice anyone can give you. We usually pack a thermos of hot chocolate, pull up a pair of folding chairs, and let the kids sit on a blanket right up front. It brings back great memories of watching holiday parades when my own children were young, and the festive lights and caroling always put everyone in a good mood.
Retired. My only deadline is tee time.
