- Oct 13, 2026, 7:34 PM#1We are thinking about taking our toddler up to the parade this December. I noticed the Downtown Conroe Association took over organizing and managing it this year. Are they keeping the setup the same or altering the downtown route? Parking near the courthouse square is always a hassle if you do not get there super early.
- Oct 13, 2026, 7:52 PM#2My daughter and I go every year lol. As far as I know they are keeping the whole setup downtown. The Downtown Conroe Association took over management just to make sure the 50 year tradition keeps going with all the community floats and local groups.
- Oct 13, 2026, 8:34 PM#3Route stays downtown. Downtown Conroe Association took over management this year. Still keeping the 50 year tradition with community floats and local participants. Park a few blocks away if you want to avoid getting trapped after.
- Oct 13, 2026, 8:49 PM#4Thanks for the parking tip nemc222. Are there going to be other holiday activities set up around downtown before the floats start rolling?
- Oct 13, 2026, 9:44 PM#5They usually have extra holiday activities for the kids around downtown Conroe before and after the floats start lol. I am so glad the Downtown Conroe Association took over the management so this 50 year tradition stays alive for the kids.
- Oct 13, 2026, 11:34 PM#6If you are planning to head up there with a toddler I would double check a few details beforehand: 1. Exact street closure times around the downtown square. 2. Where the local participants and community floats line up. 3. The schedule for downtown holiday activities. It is great that the Downtown Conroe Association is continuing a 50 year tradition, but navigating downtown parking with road closures requires planning.
