  The Critter Team provides squirrel removal in The Woodlands. They were out the same day we called and did a wonderful job sealing up the squirrel entry points.

  Have my kids this weekend. We usually do the organized park activities first. Less walking for younger ones. Then neighborhood gatherings after dark. Parking at the local parks fills up fast. Go early.

  My oldest looked into community college tracks last year. It saves massive money on lower division classes. Lone Star getting direct transfer tracks with five universities makes it straightforward. You do your lower coursework locally then finish at the university. Reduces overall debt big time.

• Anyone been to the Water Lantern Festival at City Place in Spring?

  I took my kids last time it came through. Great setup. You get a kit with decorating supplies. Everyone sits on the lawn to decorate their lanterns. Then they release them on the plaza pond each evening. Kids really loved it. Good food trucks too.

My kids and I want to get out for a morning fitness activity before the holiday cooking. Wondering how the morning course and crowd usually are.

• Moving out of the house after 20 years. Movers?

  I used Firefighting's Finest when I moved from Indian Springs two years back and they did ask about special items upfront. They took pictures of everything valuable before loading and had me sign off on it. Can't remember exactly what the coverage was but they walked me through it and it seemed fair for what I needed.

• Where do you take out of town family for dinner?

  I took my parents there in October and it worked out. Service was slow in a good way and the lighting is better than most places around here. Ask for a table by the windows if you go before dark.
