- Help, who do ya’ll recommend for squirrel removal services?
I second The Critter Team. Veteran owned, family operated, does what they say they will do and shows up on time. Their squirrel exclusion work looked fantastic as well. Can’t even tell the soffit was damaged as badly as it was after they did their metal work.

- Any casual pick-up soccer games for 11-year-old boys?
My kid is only 6 so we are not at the 11-year-old pick-up stage yet lol. But living in Research Forest, I see kids kicking balls around open green spaces on weekend afternoons after official practices clear out. It really seems like word of mouth is the only way these casual games happen without turning into structured leagues.

- Do you need tickets in advance for The Woodlands Men's Chorus Christmas concert?
My parents are coming into town for the holidays and I want to take them to see The Woodlands Men's Chorus Christmas concert. They love traditional seasonal music and local singers so this seems right up their alley. Does anyone know if tickets are required in advance or if you can just show up at the door? I tried checking around online but wanted to make sure we do not end up standing outside lol.

- Anyone been to the Water Lantern Festival at City Place in Spring?
We went last year with some friends and had a great time lol. It is super peaceful once all the lanterns hit the plaza pond after sunset. We ended up staying way longer than planned just listening to the live music and grabbing extra dessert from the food trucks. Definitely worth taking the kids down to Spring for it.

- Community events and activities around Town Center Oct 19-25
We are planning to bring our kid to a couple of the park events this weekend lol. The schedule for October 19 through 25 has a good mix of stuff for younger kids and families. It is nice having so many options right around Town Center and the greenbelts without having to drive far.

- Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot with Give Me A Break Texas
My wife and I were just talking about doing a morning walk on Thanksgiving day before heading to dinner lol. It sounds like a super fun morning activity for families. We will probably register this weekend so we get outside early.

- Wedding photographer for my daughter?
We had a neighbor use JW Baugh for her daughter's wedding two years ago and she still raves about it, so I'd second that one. My sister used someone from Conroe for her wedding and honestly regretted not going with someone local who knew the venues better. One practical thing we learned from her mistake, make sure whoever you pick has shot at your daughter's venue before, or at least does a walkthrough with her ahead of time.

- Toddler Friendly Fall Activities in The Woodlands
Second 7 Acre Wood. Laid back is the right word. Bring a change of clothes for the sandbox though, my kid was full of sand down to the socks.

- Sushi options for family night vs date night?
We usually hit Fukuda on Friday nights and haven't had much trouble getting a table if we arrive around 6 or 6:30, though they do get busier closer to 7. For date night I'd second Kokoro if you're willing to splurge, we sat at the bar last time and the handrolls were amazing. My kid isn't into sushi yet so we stick with the hibachi side at Fukuda lol.
