Does anyone go to the Junior League Holiday Market every year?

I am thinking about finally going this year to get a head start on Christmas gifts, but I am trying to figure out the best day to go. For those who go every year, how packed does Saturday get compared to Friday? I would love to hear if it is worth going early or if Friday afternoon is easier for parking and walking around the vendors lol.

We parked on Friday morning right when the doors opened and it was surprisingly manageable! Saturday is a completely different story (my mother-in-law went on Saturday afternoon that same weekend and said the aisle traffic was shoulder-to-shoulder). It is a really great event though, especially knowing that all the ticket proceeds go back into supporting community grant programs and local initiatives right here in Montgomery County. If you can slip away on Friday morning or early afternoon, that is definitely the sweet spot.

Friday definitely offers a much calmer stroll through the vendors, whereas Saturday tends to pull in much larger crowds throughout the entire day. The seasonal decorations throughout the venue are always done very nicely, and they have plenty of food setups available while you walk around. If you are aiming for a relaxed experience where you can talk to the vendors without feeling rushed, Friday is the way to go.

We ended up going on Saturday morning because of my work schedule during the week, and while it was definitely busy, the setup for photos with Santa was super easy to navigate. He loved looking at all the big seasonal decorations while we waited in line. We picked up some snacks from the food vendors right after, which kept him happy while I grabbed a couple of gifts for my sister. If you do end up having to go on Saturday, just try to get there right when it opens so you beat the mid-day rush.

She brings back all kinds of neat stuff from the shopping vendors lol. It is nice knowing the ticket money stays local and goes toward community grant programs for Montgomery County. I usually just stay home or head to the golf course, but she always says Friday is way better than Saturday if you want to dodge the heaviest crowds.
