Which local Halloween events are y'all planning to take the kids to this week around the area?

Trying to map out our schedule for Halloween week with my six year old (my son is at that age where he wants to do every single costume event if we let him). I know there are usually a bunch of trunk-or-treats and neighborhood trick-or-treating gatherings scattered across the area from Wednesday the 29th through Saturday the 1st. What local events or village center activities are y'all heading to this year? Looking for safe weekend options where parking isn't a total nightmare.

We get five of these threads every October. Use the search bar next time. That said, Community Impact put out their full list of nine events around The Woodlands area running from October 29 through November 1. It covers everything from local family trick-or-treating gatherings to community festivals across the villages.

    This has been covered. Twice.

Back when my kids were little in Grogan's Mill, we just put on cheap plastic masks and walked the dark pathways with flashlight batteries that died halfway through the block. Now there are nine organized festivals and trick-or-treating events scheduled between October 29 and November 1 across the local centers. The organized daytime neighborhood events are certainly a lot easier on the parents than trying to keep track of kids on dark timberland trails after sunset.

Old enough to remember when Research Forest was two lanes.

Appreciate the quick replies (and sorry Sam, I did a quick scan on my phone during lunch break but missed the earlier threads). Are any of those community festivals between the 29th and the 1st better suited for a first grader who gets overwhelmed by huge crowds?

If you are bringing a six-year-old to any of the trick-or-treating events over that October 29 to November 1 stretch, here is what I would check before leaving the house: double check start times, ask if strollers are allowed on the lawn areas, and figure out the restroom situation in advance. The central locations get packed fast by 5 p.m. with families coming straight from work.

I was walking back from the clinic yesterday (taking my usual route across the bridge toward the Waterway) and saw flyers posted for a few of the family trick-or-treating events coming up later this week. The daytime community gatherings on Friday and Saturday look like great setups for young kids. Parking around the commercial centers usually fills up about thirty minutes before start time, so I would plan to arrive early if you are driving over from Alden Bridge.

My kids love the weekend trick-or-treat gatherings. The local neighborhood events between Oct 29 and Nov 1 are always solid. Go early before the candy runs out.

Our grandkids are coming over for a couple of the daytime trick-or-treating events this week lol. It is nice having so many safe community festivals spread out between Wednesday the 29th and Saturday the 1st across different parts of the area. Keeps everyone from rushing into one spot all at once.
