Does anyone have Halloween plans in The Woodlands area besides just standard neighborhood trick-or-treating? I am curious what events or activities y'all are hitting up around town and if anyone is dressing up lol.

Honestly, we are so overwhelmed with options this year! (My husband is traveling for work that week so it is literally just me wrangling both kids and the dog). We usually try to hit the Halloween activities over by Rob Fleming Park in Sterling Ridge before we start walking our street for candy. I am attempting a group costume with the kids as characters from Super Mario, though honestly the dog is refusing to keep his Yoshi shell on!

I have a night shift at Memorial Hermann right after Halloween, so we usually do our fun earlier in the evening lol. My daughter wanted to walk along the Waterway in costume before it gets dark, and then head back over to College Park for trick-or-treating with her school friends. She is going as a witch with bright purple hair this year, and I am just wearing cat ears so I can head straight in to work after lol.

A few of us from Lone Star College are planning to head down toward Town Center and Market Street during the evening to see everyone out in costume and grab dinner. It gets pretty lively along the Waterway with groups walking around. My roommates and I are doing a group costume as classic movie villains, though we are still arguing over who gets to wear the mask.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! @SterlingSteph good luck with the Mario costume, that sounds so cute lol. Did Rob Fleming Park require advance registration for their Halloween event or can you just walk up?

We always take the dogs out on the pathways in Cochran's Crossing earlier in the afternoon before the big trick-or-treating crowds start up. The labs wear little hot dog outfits every year. The cat stays inside safe from all the doorbell ringing. It is always great seeing all the family costumes along the trails. Buster and Barnaby approved.

We stick to Cochran's Crossing trails early. Kids walk to friends houses later. Costume is basic superhero stuff this year. Traffic near Town Center gets backed up early so plan ahead if driving over there.
