Posting this for anyone hunting work. H-Town Chem-Dry is hiring carpet cleaning technicians for The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, Tomball, Magnolia, Oak Ridge and Shenandoah. $16 to $18 an hour, full time or part time. You would be cleaning carpet, upholstery, rugs, tile, stone and hardwood in homes and commercial places, plus stain and pet odor work. They say work ethic and reliability matter more than experience and they will train you, but you have to be ready to work at 7 a.m. Call 281-350-4644.

   Cheaper taxes, longer drive.

Chem-Dry has been around forever. Customer-facing in-home work is not for everybody but the ones who are good at it seem to stay a long time.

2004 transplant. Still call it Randalls.
