Finished up a long walk around the pond with the retriever and I am just too worn out to cook. My dog Buster is fast asleep on the rug and I am starving. What is your go-to pizza around here when you just want a great pie for dinner?

RC's NYC Pizza & Pasta on Sawdust Road is the top choice. The owner has competed nationally and won trophies for his pizza. Make sure to try their calzones and wings while you are at it.

If it opened on Market Street, I've been.

RC's is okay, but if you want a solid, no-frills New York slice that doesn't overcharge, Brothers Pizza Express on Buckthorne Place is the way to go. They won the 2022 Pizza Shootout for a reason.

    Cheaper taxes, longer drive.

Zalat on Research Forest. Get the beef pepperoni, plus they stay open late.

Retired. Walking the paths since the paths were dirt.

Appreciate the replies everyone! Does Brothers on Buckthorne have easy parking to just jump in and grab the order quickly while the dog waits in the car?

Brothers is very quick for pickup, simple counter setup and easy parking out front. If you ever want to sit down somewhere with more variety later on, Rotolo's Craft & Crust over on Gosling Road in Spring is great. They serve New York, Chicago, and Detroit style crusts, and they have a full bar. But for a simple carryout tonight, Brothers or RC's on Sawdust will be your easiest grab.

The search tool works, people. But since you asked, Zalat on Research Forest is hard to beat if you need late-night pickup.

    This has been covered. Twice.

As a newcomer, we tried RC's Pizza on Sawdust last Friday after seeing neighbors mention it. The pizza was great and the wings were fantastic!

I grab from Brothers about once a month when I'm slammed with deadlines and parking is definitely easy, usually right by the door. Just call it in while you're getting the leash off Buster and it'll be boxed up by the time you arrive.

I've picked up from Brothers on Buckthorne plenty of times and parking is super easy right out front. You can run in and out in no time, perfect for when you've got Buster waiting in the car. I usually call ahead so it's ready when I get there.
